About Us
The Druzhba Ukrainian
Dance Ensemble started in 2021 as a group comprised of families and friends. Since then, the group has expanded to over 20 dancers aged 16 and up, who are all passionate about sharing Ukrainian culture though dance.
Druzhba brings energetic performances to festivals and events across Manitoba and beyond, including Canada's National Ukrainian Festival, Folklorama, Feast of Nations (USA) and other local events that showcase Ukrainian culture and talent.

Under the instruction of Daria Tkaczyk and Taras Zaporozan, and with choreography by Taras Zaporozan, Druzhba displays dances and costumes from many regions of Ukraine, including Polissia, Zakarpattia, Volyn, Hutsul and Bukovyna.
Druzhba continues to expand technique and repertoire with guest instructors and new choreography.
